If you remember back on July 25th, 2012 we all helped make history as the Safe Chemicals Act was voted on for the first time in 36 years. The Committee on Environment & Public Works PASSED the Safe Chemicals Act and now it moves on to the Senate floor. With Senator Nelson's support, we are one step closer to important chemical law reform that will change the unhealthy course we are currently on and help create a more sustainable future for all of us.
